This week in class was really interesting. We started out the week with a small quiz about career exploration. I thought this was really fun an interesting to do. We answered a serise of questions about thing or hobbies we like to do or not. They took all of our answers and choose what area of work would be best with those intrestes. I am pleased with the resluts I got. After that we went on to the website and found out what we could do with our major. I found this super helpful, and I found a lot more things that I could do with my major.
Our second day, we focused on cover letters. Im going to be completly honest… I had no idea what a cover letter was before this class. Both of the jobs I have had never required on, but they both had a interview. Which I consider a in-person cover letter. We read some example cover letters, they were better than what I’ve written so far. But I’m sure they have had more experience than me. Overall, I found this week super intresting and helpful.
For the upcoming weeks. I am sad and happy that this semester is coming to an end, but we are wrapping up and before we know it we will have our final essay due. I would say Im confident with where I am, but I’m not. I have an outline and one paragraph. So I am going to start prioritizing it.
