Brainstorming – Weekly Writing #10

We are cracking down to the final weeks of the semester. I can’t believe it has gone by this fast. I honesty still feel like I just left high school. This past week has been loads of fun. I have been working on my creative writing project, and it looking good. I just have the conclusion left. What I thought was super fun and wish we did in more classes were movies. We watched two movies this week, Can You Ever Forgive Me? and 84 Charing Crossing Road. I fell asleep right before I was supposed to go to the movie, so I watched it on my own later that night. My favorite out of the two was Can You Ever Forgive Me? I felt like it kept me on my toes more, and I am a huge fan of Melissa Mccarthy. At first I couldn’t tell it was her, she did an amazing job playing that part.

Since this semester is coming to a close we are starting to brainstorm our final projects. For my project I am not exactly sure what I want to write about yet. There are manything possibilities that could work. The only prompt given was basically that it has to tie in with letters in some way. My two ideas are diving in to letters from prisoners and I think there is a foundation that lets strangers write to prisoners which would be cool to look into. Then my other idea was Pen Pals. I was originally going to do Pen Pals, because my best friend went away to college in switzerland, and for fun we send each other letters every week, instead of a text. Her service isn’t great over there, and also our school wifi sucks. However, now that I’m thinking about it prison letters seems like a bit more fun.
