Presentation Week

Presentations and tests are my deepest fear when it comes to every class. I am not the best at public speaking and I get very anxious when it happens. So overall I wasn’t too excited for this week, but I did think that listening to other people present about their topics was fascinating. I learned a lot more about the topic, and how people portrayed it. My presentation was about the effects of love letters on people. Positive or negative. During the presentation I was scared I was not going to say everything I wanted to say, or if I was going to make the right time. Without being over or under. I think it was the thing that I was most anxious about. I wrote the information that was on my slides onto flashcards to make sure I didn’t read off the screen too much. As well as keep good eye contact with fellow classmates. I do think that I did a pretty good job at it overall.

It was really interesting to see everyone else’s ideas on our topic of letter writing during World War 2. Especially Ezra’s presentation, I really liked how he interacted with the class and made it very interesting to listen to. During presentations in my high school, I got very bored of when listening to them, but not in this case. Every presentation that I’ve seen so far has piqued my interest in some way. I think this week was really fun, and I am excited to see the rest of the presentations next week.
